Red Notice 2 picks up after the shocking twist of the first film, where Nolan Booth, John Hartley, and the elusive Bishop form an uneasy alliance to pull off one of the boldest heists in history. Now enjoying their freedom, the trio hides in different corners of the world, but their temporary peace is shattered when a powerful criminal syndicate known as The Black Atlas places a massive bounty on their heads. Someone leaked details about their past operations, and the syndicate wants to force them into stealing a legendary artifact once believed lost forever.
Hartley reluctantly reunites with Booth and Bishop after receiving a message warning that Interpol is preparing an international dragnet targeting all three of them. Bishop claims she has nothing to do with the leak, but Booth suspects otherwise, reviving the rivalry and distrust that has always defined their partnership. Despite their tensions, the trio is forced to work together when The Black Atlas kidnaps a key historian who holds the secret to locating the artifact: the Crown of Antioch, rumored to possess priceless historical value.

Their journey takes them across Rome, Alexandria, and Istanbul as they race to outsmart Interpol agents and notorious mercenaries sent to capture them. Booth’s impulsive creativity clashes with Hartley’s calculated strategies, while Bishop manipulates situations to keep herself one step ahead of everyone. During a daring break-in at an underground auction, they discover that the Crown has been split into three pieces hidden in different continents. Retrieving them becomes a globe-spanning chase filled with betrayals, shifting alliances, and unexpected twists.
As the trio grows closer to completing the puzzle, they realize The Black Atlas intends to use the Crown as leverage in a political power play capable of destabilizing several governments. The stakes suddenly escalate far beyond profit or survival. Hartley, still wrestling with his blurred moral line, pushes to stop the syndicate entirely, while Booth remains torn between heroism and his lifelong devotion to thievery. Bishop, however, seems to know more than she admits, feeding doubts into the group’s already fragile trust.

The climax unfolds in the ruins of an ancient fortress on the Turkish coast, where the final piece of the Crown is located. Amid gunfire, collapsing structures, and double-crosses, the trio confronts the head of The Black Atlas, only to discover another betrayal within their ranks. Booth and Hartley must make a split-second decision about whether Bishop can still be trusted or whether she has orchestrated everything from the beginning.
In the end, they narrowly escape with their lives—and the Crown—only to find themselves placed on a new global Red Notice. Forced back into the shadows, the trio realizes that their partnership, though chaotic, might be the only thing keeping them alive.
