The Divide begins with a sudden nuclear attack on New York City, forcing a group of residents to flee into the basement bunker of their apartment building. The bunker belongs to Mickey, the building’s strict superintendent, who reluctantly allows eight survivors to take shelter with him. As the outside world burns, the group’s only hope lies in the cramped, dimly lit space beneath the ruins.
